Force is a company that makes Force outboards. They were bought by US MARINE. Years ago they stopped making force outboards. They stopped in the late 90's. Many Force outboard are still out I the world today!
This company was bought by US MARINE in 1987 in 1987 came out the brand new Force 125 hp outboard. Then in 1987 came the brand new 85 hp Force outboard. In 1984 The Force outboard motor company was made. In 1988 the new 85 hp, 125 hp, 35 hp, 50 hp were made in 1988. Only the 85 hp, 90 hp, 120 hp, 125 hp, and 150 hp force motors have Crossfire Fuel Induction (CFI)
I have a 1988 Force 85 hp outboard and works great for the pontoon boat. I know that it still has ability to go as fast as it can. These motors have been around for years now and are still popular.
The company has stopped making the outboards which is a shame.
